Final Fantasy 14 PS4 beta release date details

By Updated on

Earlier on this week we unleashed the new Final Fantasy 14 PS4 trailer, which also confirmed some exclusive features that wouldn’t be on other versions. Now we have another update on the game, this time for those of you that want to get your hands on a Final Fantasy 14 PS4 beta code.

The re-launch of Final Fantasy 14, now titled A Realm Reborn is getting everyone excited it seems. The game is already available on PS3 and PC, but on April 14 Final Fantasy 14 will finally be available to play on PS4.

Before that though, we can tell you that extensive beta testing will begin. The Final Fantasy 14 beta Phase 1 will start on February 22 and will run through until March 3rd.

A second beta test will then be available on April 4th and will last three days only until April 7th – giving Square-Enix one more week to make final tweaks before the full launch on April 14.

Here’s the important details though: After Phase 1 character information will be wiped and will not transfer over to Phase 2. However, make a character in Phase 2 and you can save that data and carry it over to the full game once it launches.

Further information on the beta can be seen via Square-Enix’s post on the official PS Blog here. Let us know if you are planning to enter the beta and if you have already received a Final Fantasy 14 beta code or not.
