While some of you may still be loving the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, we can tell you that new alternatives will be on the way soon. Specifically, information has leaked out ahead of MWC 2014 offering a sneaky glance of potential Galaxy Tab 4 specs.
If the following information is deemed to be legitimate, we can tell you that Samsung will soon release a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 inch variety, which will come with some pleasing specs compared to the Galaxy Tab 3.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 specs were average at best, but it looks like Samsung are going to make some pleasing upgrades for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4 features to put a smile on the faces of consumers.
Intel gathered over at PhonesArena suggests that the Galaxy Tab 4 is going to be running on a 1.2Ghz quad-core processor, with 1GB RAM on top. While the low RAM is perhaps disappointing considering that high-end tablets are now up to 3GB of RAM, it does look like there will be an upgrade to the cameras.
The Galaxy Tab 3 featured a 3 megapixel rear camera, but it looks like Samsung will upgrade this to a pleasing 8 megapixels, while the front will be boosted to a 2 megapixel camera, compared to 1.3MP on the older model.
Elsewhere, we see a Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 16GB internal memory with 64GB microSD slot and an impressive 6800mAh battery powering everything.
As expected, all ranges of the Galaxy Tab 4 will be running on Android 4.4 Kitkat, although there’s obviously no confirmation on a Galaxy Tab 3 price or US and UK release date – this information will come after MWC 2014.
So there we have it. Another 10.1-inch tablet on the way from our Korean friends. Are you interested in this one, or do you still have one eye on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition, or the more expensive and luxurious Galaxy Note Pro 12.2?
