Getting children into mathematics is not easy for many parents, but with the help of useful iOS applications this whole experience can be a much more enjoyable. Whether it is cool maths games or specific areas that need more attention the use of apps could be the ideal way to entertain children while they are learning.

Kids Academy 123 Tracing is another free app that focuses more on pre-schoolers, helping younger children learn to identify numbers and digits with everything from flashcards, and patterns to memory games and numbers spelling blocks.
For £1.99, Number Monster by Wombi Apps helps children learn to count with varied ways to learn numbers. With plenty of tasks on offer this is more like a game for those little-ones, but adults will not realize how much they can actually pick up from the different scenarios on offer. Fun for children from 3 and upwards this energetic and enjoyable app could be ideal for those with younger kids.
Wee Kids Math by Ebooks&kids is available through the iTunes App Store for £1.49 and this play/learning app has a whole array of playing levels and new activities, with bright colours and engaging sound effects. Providing both fun and education, Wee Kids Math contains some uniquely animated games that not only promote maths, but other learning aspects are explored with the use of animals, vegetables, insects, countries, states and planets.
