It’s no surprise that The LEGO Movie has a video game tie in available on multiple platforms and will be released on the same day as the movie. However, we must warn that if you intend to play The LEGO Movie Videogame before seeing the film, then this could spoil things for you because the game is heavily based on the movie.
This means that if you have yet to read The LEGO Movie review because you do not want to spoil it for yourself, then you had best stay away from The LEGO Movie Videogame review as well. The plot of the movie has been followed very faithfully and several cut scenes from the movie actually appear in the game as well. This is ideal for padding the game out, along with helping with the plot.

Having looked at two LEGO Movie Videogame reviews we can see that the game has scored rather high, although this is something we have come to expect from the LEGO video game franchise. We also expect the same from The Hobbit Lego Videogame.
The Financial Post has given The LEGO Movie Videogame a review score of 8.5 out of 10, which is no fluke because Canoe has scored the game 4 out of 5. Both are very high scores and shows that even though this is a game aimed at children it’s still able to show some of the larger titles a thing or two.
If you are unable to afford this game, then you do have the option to try a few online games inspired by The LEGO Movie.
