The build-up to Dead Island Epidemic has been an interesting one because first of all we had no idea as to who the developer was going to be, and secondly when would we start to see people being offered a referral code. Thankfully, we already have the answer to that first question, which is Deep Silver, and secondly, Dead Island Epidemic has now started to accept sign-ups while the game is still in closed beta.
Becoming an Dead Island Epidemic beta tester will mean you join the 30,000 alpha testers in trying to make the game much better, as well as iron out all the early bugs, well that’s the hope.
There is currently no Dead Island Epidemic public release date, as this no doubt depends on what the new beta testers uncover, However, we can tell you that the game is coming along nicely, as Deep Silver, has also been sharing some of the Dead Island Epidemic features on its website.
Deep Silver explains that there is to be several modes within the game, one of which will be Core Mode and will see 3 teams of 4 combatting with each other in order to win the prize, which just so happens to be holding key points, grabbing supplies, fighting off zombies and just trying to outsmart the other teams.
As for the Dead Island Epidemic controls, we’re told that they are progressing very well and are pretty much the same as Dead Island. Alpha testers have said that the Dead Island Epidemic gameplay is rather impressive, although we can see from the footage below that there is still a lot of polishing to go through, which will no doubt happen now that the beta testers will be involved.
