Are you looking to pick up a new camera in 2014? If so, you may want to consider the Sony A7 camera as it is currently one of the most promising cameras that money can buy, not to mention one of the most stylish looking cameras on the market today as well.
Good cameras are not cheap however, and you’ll find that the Sony A7 camera price in UK at least is perhaps a little higher than you would have expected. It’s £1300 on Sony’s website, but for that you do get some stellar performance.
This includes a 24.3 Exmor HD CMOS sensor, Optical low-pass filter and the new BIONZ X image processor which can take stunning photos of fast moving objects without losing any clarity in quality. You can also take images with 5 frames per second with the BIONZ and enjoy full HD video at up to 50 progressive frames per second.
For a more detailed look at Sony A7 specs, you can head to Sony’s website here. Now though, we want to give you a quick heads-up on some Sony A7 video quality tests and see how realistic this camera can get.
Just take a look at some of our included videos, which demonstrate the true power of the A7 in various conditions – night focusing, a beach environment and even a test on how it handles capturing footage of a waterfall.
The price may be a turn-off for most of you, but for the hardcore photographers out there, let us know if you would consider the Sony A7 in 2014.
Alternatively, let us know if you are using a better camera for a cheaper price that you would recommend ahead of this one. Is £1000+ too much for a camera in today’s economic climate?
