There has been a great deal of speculation as to the likely release date of the GTA V on the PC, which has eluded the platform for many months now. There is a huge need for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5, and if we are to believe latest reports, then this version of the game will be up for pre-order this Friday, Jan 31.
However, we need to point out that the evidence for this so-called GTA V PC pre-order is a little suspicious because Gamereactor states that they have been told that Elgiganten, a Nordic retailer and part of the Dixons Group will be ready to pre-order as from Friday.
What makes this even more dubious is the fact that they learned of this second-hand through a manager at one of the Elgiganten stores in Sweden.
This isn’t the first time that such evidence was seen at a retailer because a recent price listing for the PC version of GTA V was seen on Amazon, which as we reported sparked a frenzy.
While it is all very well reading these stories and hoping that GTA 5 will be up for pre-order on Friday along with details of its eventual release date, we should wait until Rockstar make an official announcement.
With more GTA V PC listings appearing do you think this is all part of the rumor mill, or is this a sign that Rockstar is about to finally give PC gamers what they want?
