Nexus 10 2014 alternative with HaierPad 1043 tablet

By Updated on

Many Android fans are patiently waiting for Google to publicly announce release information for the delayed Nexus 10 2014 tablet. If you are fed up of waiting though, you should know that there are other new tablets to consider buying, tablets that still offer very good performance and an even lower price.

One of the new alternatives that you may want to take a closer look at, is the HaierPad 1043 tablet. It’s a nice looking tablet that was one of the many devices that went under the radar and unnoticed at CES 2014.

We all know that the Nexus 10 2014 is going to be equipped with some dazzling hardware specs, but would you be willing to settle for less performance, but at a much cheaper price?

The HaierPad 1043 tablet is starting to turn heads as it could be one that sells for a significantly lower price. Performance is still impressive though, as it features a quad-core 1.6Ghz processor with 2GB of RAM.

The 10.1-inch IPS display is also full HD quality with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, while there’s storage options from 8GB, 16GB or 32GB – no word on MicroSD support yet.

Although the specs may seem average to you compared to some of the other high-end tablets on the market, the HaierPad 1043 does feature a very slim design, as you’ll be able to see in the included video below.

One word of caution though, as the HaierPad 1043 battery life may prove to be a problem in the future. The press release confirms that this tablet can only manage around 6 hours of battery life, which obviously cannot compete with the superior battery life offered by the iPad Air and original Nexus 10 tablet.

Still though, if we see a price of around $150 for this – we know some of you will still find it very appealing. Watch the video below for a closer look and let us know if you would be willing to buy oneit ships this April.
