When Rockstar started to tease us with images of Grand Theft Auto 5 long before its release there was an image that caught our attention, and that was of several people parachuting. This led us to believe that you will be able to parachute in GTA V, it’s nothing new, but it is certainly fun.
Now that the game has been with us for several months so many GTA V players have been getting themselves into all kinds of trouble, and it if were not for their parachute strapped to their backs it could all end in tears.

We’ve had a few close calls our self and we can see by some of the videos on YouTube that many of you have as well. These videos give you a good idea of what fun can be had in GTA V when you have a parachute as back up.
The first video is a GTA V parachute montage, which as you will see is full of cool stunts such as jumping from a crane. I’d love to know if this is actually possible because it’s not overly high and he don’t let his chute out until very close to the ground – there we go being a bit too serious because its just a bit of fun after all.
We do find the first video a little slow, although the montage is still rather interesting to watch especially when we have performed jumps from a helicopter with different outcomes.
In the second video you will see a series of parachute jumps, and for those of you who are unaware there are 13 in the game and all have to be performed in order to complete the game. The second video runs for almost 30 minutes and offers a complete GTA V parachute guide.
The third video is also a guide to the Grand Theft Auto 5 parachute stunts, but how this differs to the longer one above is how it adds commentary as well. This makes it much better for those of you who need just a little more information before you attempt jump.
We’d love to know what jumps you have completed and if you had any trouble performing them at all, we know we have had a few close calls?
If you only wish to know the GTA V parachute locations, then watch the fourth video and learning the controls is not that hard to master just for those who were a little concerned.
