By Updated on

If you are a Dead Rising 3 owner on Xbox One, the time has come to sample the game’s first piece of DLC content. If you are looking for feedback before you make the $9.99 purchase, you will want to check out some Dead Rising 3 Operation Broken Eagle reviews first.

The pack is available to buy from the Xbox Live Marketplace right now and is the first pack of four as part of the “Untold Stories of Lost Perdidos” storyline.

In the first chapter Operation Broken Eagle, you’ll play as Adam Kane, a Spec Ops commander who is given the task of rescuing the president – a plot that you may have seen and played through before in many other games.

Aside from the new story aspect of Operation Broken Eagle, a portion of the rather expensive paying fee is devoted to providing you with five new weapons, one of which allows you to don a very awesome looking a cool minigun – just like the movies.

Jokes aside though, it appears that Capcom may have angered one or two fans with not only the quality of the story content – but the short duration as well. Operation Broken Eagle reviews are going live and there is a lot of bad blood swirling around it has to be said.

Is it worth the asking price?

Is it worth the asking price?

One example can be seen in Destructoid’s review here, where they award the game a 5/10 and brutally state that “there is literally no reason to get Broken Eagle”.

Many other reviews that we have seen for the game also complain that Operation Broken Eagle is just too short. Is this something that you want to be spending $9.99 or £8 on?

We’ve added GameTrailer’s video review below for a further preview of the content. Let us know your impressions of the DLC if you have already bought it from the store.

Would you agree with what many others are saying in that it is too short?
