Winter Olympics 2014 desired on Apple TV

Updated on

There’s a strong desire to see the Winter Olympics 2014 streamed live on Apple TV by owners of the little black box and this is clearly seen within various forums. The start date for the Winter Olympics is scheduled for February 6 to 23, 2014.

You will see forum threads being deleted on the official Apple discussion area and this is due to “speculation not permitted under the Terms of Use” for Apple’s community. Taking a look at unofficial forums delivers a glimpse at how many people want to see more events streamed live, including the Winter Olympics in 2014, but at the time of writing Apple hasn’t confirmed if the games starting next month will stream live on their set-top-box.

Demand for Winter Olympics 2014 live on Apple TV – we have had a few emails, seen a lot of feedback in Apple related forums, and received comments directly on Product Reviews in relation to more live streams on Apple TV that include the 2014 Winter Olympics. One forum user stated, “Will I be able to watch the 2014 Winter Olympics on Apple TV?”, but the lack of official comment is not unusual for Apple thanks to a stance of speculation.

Another Product Reviews reader added, “Apple really need to stream the 2014 Winter Games live on their Apple TV and not just list their own events for streaming. Although, I see that Yahoo signed a deal with NBC to offer live-streaming of the 2014 Winter Olympics and just wish Apple would do something similar”.

Would you like to see Apple follow Yahoo, and sign a deal to stream the 2014 Winter Olympics live on Apple TV?
