The location of Assassin’s Creed 5 is one of great interest because of the endless possibilities, although it is worth noting that Ubisoft has ruled a future setting out of the question. Some time ago an image was leaked that is a great clue as to where AC5 will base its story around, although there does seem to be some confusion as to where.
We have seen several new rumors in regard to the Assassin’s Creed 5 location because of an image that appeared on the Internet, which looks as though we could be headed to Ancient Egypt next time around. However, a new report from VG247 dismisses that since creative director from Assassin’s Creed 4 believes that a Samurai setting in Feudal Japan is highly likely.
If you were to do a poll we have a feeling that Ancient Egypt would come up very high, although we have to remember that there are many other eras to visit in Egypt, with the 13th century said to also be a strong possibility.
As for Feudal Japan, this has also been discussed on a number of occasions and it is clear that this would be a much better setting than we have seen in the last 2 games, as it is rather obvious that Feudal Japan has a lot more to offer than the American War of Independence.
If you had the choice what would be far more interesting to you, Feudal Japan or Ancient Egypt?
When Assassin’s Creed V is finally released there could be separate versions for current and next-gen consoles, although we need to start calling the PS4 and Xbox One current generation now surely?
