Pokemon X and Y Pokebank release date hits new low

By Updated on

We are now at the start of another week and unfortunately there is still no sign of a Pokemon X and Y Pokebank release date for US and UK gamers. Nintendo are remaining silent and we’ve noticed that some naughty users online have decided to take the delay into their own hands.

It goes without saying that Nintendo are really stretching out this delay now. We have been keeping you up to date with the latest progress on the Pokebank, but at the time of writing it still remains unavailable for download for all users outside of Japan.

Twitter can be a cruel place sometimes and we have the latest evidence of that below. One user has attempted to tease everyone in the worst way, by posing as the official Pokemon channel. The image above attempts to trick everyone by ‘confirming’ a February 29 release date for the Pokebank.

A quick glance at your calendar though and you’ll see that there is no such date this year. Is this really what some users have resorted to after waiting for official information from Nintendo for so long?

Hopefully this is the week when we will finally see the content available. Until then though – take all rumors with a huge pinch of salt.

Are you preparing your old Pokemon for transfer as soon as the Pokebank and Poke Transporter go live?

Just a reminder—unless I missed something, Poke Bank is still unavailable for users within Japan. The only people who have it are the Japanese people who downloaded it BEFORE the crash. Saying “but at the time of writing it still remains unavailable for download for all users outside of Japan,” is a bit misleading.

As of 2 days ago its been made available for all of japan

Hi, I live in Japan and have a Japanese 3DS and Japanese Pokemon XY games, and the Pokebank is still listed as unavailable. So if it’s available somewhere in Japan at the moment, it’s not ‘all of Japan’.

I think that was the point to reference the long wait, basically saying this isn’t gona happen anytime soon and it feels like we will be waiting forever.

    • Your Mother

      March 1st then.

i think they really ruined it when it has taken more than a month to even come with a release date, and telling anything is also gonna fk them up with the fans
