Earlier on this week, we told you the surprise similarity between the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 Vs the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, with both having identical specs. Now though, we switch our attention to the smallest member of the new 2014 lineup – the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 specs, which we’re pleased to say has its own characteristics.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 will be arriving at the same time as its bigger brothers, meaning a release schedule sometime in Q1 2014. Samsung has not announced a price for UK and US markets yet, but we’re presuming that the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 price will be in line with the affordable Nexus 7 2013 – it should be anyway if Samsung want to stay competitive.
To give you a reminder of specs, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm 2.3Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, with 2GB of RAM. There’s an 8 megapixel camera on board and a display resolution of 2560 x 1600 which is very pleasing.
The battery isn’t as good as the the 12.2 Tab Pro and 12.2 Note Pro models, but a 4800mAh battery on the 8.4-inch isn’t bad at all. Storage will be offered in 16GB and 32GB varieties as standard, while extra memory is available via MicroSD card.

Is 8.4-inches more worthwhile to you than 12.2-inches?
