Pokemon X and Y Diancie, Volcanion, Hoopa move list

Earlier on we gave you a much needed Pokemon X and Y news update on the status of Volcanion. Now that it looks like the elusive creature is finally on the way, we’re pleased to bring you a full preview of moves for Volcanion – and also Diancie and Hoopa as well.

Volcanion, Diancie and Hoopa are coming to Pokemon X and Y soon. This could be with an official Game Freak event, or just via a software update in 2014 – but either way they are on the way. The three mystery Pokemon already have Pokemon X and Y Pokedex entries as we told you here, but now we have something more exciting for you.

Thanks to some very early information, it seems as if we now know the Pokemon X and Y Diancie, Volcanion, Hoopa move lists. Starting with Diancie, we can remind you that this is a Rock/Fairy type Pokemon that has the special ability known as Diamond Storm.

Now, assuming the early details are correct, Diancie will learn the moves Moonblast, Safeguard, and Light Screen on top of Diamond Storm.

Volcanion is the exciting Fire/Ice type and will have the ability Steam Eruption. Now we could have the other three moves for you, as Volcanion may learn Flare Blitz, Overheat, and Explosion. Take a good look at those moves as we could be looking at one of the new powerhouse Pokemon in 2014.

Finally, Hoopa is another highly anticipated addition, notably due to the fact that the Pokemon will be a rare Psychic/Ghost type. Hoopa’s special ability could be Hyperspace Hole and its three other moves could be Psychic, Shadow Ball, and Trick Room – definitely worth keeping an eye on this one.

So there we have it, some very exciting information indeed if confirmed to be true. As we await a confirmation from Nintendo, let us know which of the three Pokemon above you will be using the most.
