We have some good news for those of you that use the Google Drive app on iOS or Android devices. It looks like a new update is available for Google Drive, one that should finally make it a lot easier to use when navigating through the interface than before.
The biggest feature that we can see, is the ability to now sort files in a much closer affair – allowing users to manage files with useful filters such as “last sorted by me” and “last edited by me.”
Deeper sorting on Google Drive has been a big request from users for many weeks, but it’s great to see Google implement that with the latest update. For those that are yet to see the benefits of what Google Drive offers, you can head to your personal drive space with any Google account here.
Aside from the Google Drive sorting update, you may also notice a general performance improvement too, as Google says that they have added several changes ‘under the hood’ to enhance usability and faster speed when exploring the app.
Try out the new and improved Google Drive now and tell us what you think about the changes. Now that proper sorting features have arrived – what would you like to see next?
