Trust Hideo Kojima to shake up things in a massive way. If PS4 users were happy with the Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes Solid Snake exclusive mission for PS4, just wait and see what Kojima has planned for Xbox One users. The exclusive content for Microsoft’s console is a playable Raiden mission – not available on PS4.
Xbox One owners had initially been worried that they were getting the short end of the stick with their version of MGS: Ground Zeroes. Now, it could be the complete opposite with confirmation that Raiden is only going to be playable on the Xbox One version.
Konami has released some Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes Raiden DLC gameplay, showing the cyborg assassin in action – and it looks fantastic. Konami knows how to hype up content and we think you are going to love what you see, especially for those that played Metal Gear Rising.
It’s a great tease of what is to come and finally you can see some actual gameplay for the first time as well, rather than just cutscene footage like we have been seeing over the last few months.

What do you make of Konami’s decision to bring Raiden to Xbox One versions only though? It hasn’t gone down well with PS4 users, as we’ve already seen a lot of complaints on social media about it.
Is this a worrying sign overall for the industry, to see a developer such as Kojima Productions joining the console exclusive DLC bandwagon? Give us your thoughts.
Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes has now been given a release date too. March 18 in the US and March 20 for those in Europe.
