Nokia Lumia 2520 Vs iPad Air Ad mocks battery life

By Alan Ng - Dec 5, 2013

If you needed a gentle push on choosing Nokia’s new Lumia 2520 tablet over the mighty iPad Air from Apple, allow Nokia to come in with their new amusing ad. We already think that the Nokia 2520 is great competition for the iPad Air on paper, but most of you will surely see the funny side of Nokia’s latest ad.

We all know how strong the iPad is in the market. Even if tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition and soon to be released Nexus 10 2013 topples the iPad Air in a direct specs battle, many consumers just believe the iPad is better hands down due to ease of use and superior app support.

It’s great to see Nokia still plugging away in the background though. The Lumia brand has really come on in 2013 and the 2520 tablet could be Nokia’s finest work yet. Just a reminder of some features for you, as it includes a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of memory, a 6.7MP rear camera and a fantastic 8120mAh battery too.

In comparison, the iPad Air offers a A7 system chip with Dual-Core processor on top, 1GB of RAM, a base 16GB of memory, 5MP rear camera and an 8820mAh battery.

Despite the iPad Air having good battery life, Nokia has decided to take aim at this aspect in their ad below. The Lumia 2520 features a fast charging function on the tablet, but is it superior enough to call Apple out in a video?

Take a look at the Ad below and let us know what you think. Regardless of battery life, do you think the Nokia Lumia 2520 is the better tablet anyway?
