Acer has gone back to its roots somewhat with its all in one Aspire Z3-600 tablet PC. The device is set for launch later this month and features both flexibility and a price to match that. Acer has recently focused on Chromebooks, however they clearly want to push this Windows 8 product out and offer consumers more choice this Christmas.
The Aspire Z3-600 features a 21.5 inch display and can be either set down like a desktop PC or picked up and taken from room to room. The portable option adds flexibility to the device, although we wager that many people will set the beast down mostly when using it.
The battery life on the Aspire Z3-600 will last approximately 2.5 hours so bare this in mind if you want to take it for a walk. Otherwise you can feed the device a constant charge whilst it is set down on a surface. Acer’s tablet PC comes with 750GB of internal storage and 4GB or RAM; sadly both can’t be upgraded so you will have to make do.
The Acer Aspire Z3-600 comes loaded with HD Graphics, a 1080p display and Intel’s Pentium J2580 quad-core processor. This makes the device ideal for both consuming media and working, giving a flexible balance that you would expect from an all in one product. As you would expect HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 3.0 and a built in webcam are included, as are two Harman Kadron speakers for a better quality of sound.
Finally the price of the Aspire is set at $779 which is fairly reasonable for a high end all in one portable PC. You can have a look at the full tech specs of the Acer Aspire Z3-600 here.
