With just minutes to go until Amazon’s Cyber Monday 2013 deals week begins, it will be interesting to see how different they do things when compared to what they had already been running for Black Friday.
Amazon.com is not like most retailers out there, as they rely solely on online sales rather than people coming in off the streets and into brick and mortar stores, and so Cyber Monday means more to them than the likes of Best Buy, Target and Walmart.
We have yet to see what deals will be on offer, although you only have a few minutes to find out. However, we won’t know all the deals because if they copy what they did for Black Friday deals week, what we will see is a limited number of items that go up for sale for a certain amount of time.
Once they have gone, then Amazon begins another load of offers, and we expect them to range from tablets, TVs, laptops, smartphones, health and beauty products, such as electric toothbrushes, shavers, hairdryers and much more.
Amazon understand that their customers love to shop on Cyber Monday because it is the chance for them to find gifts for people on their Christmas list. They would have you believe that they do this because it is the best way for consumers to get the best prices for certain gifts, but they are also making a healthy profit still, as they know consumers will also be on the site looking for other items to buy.
Will Amazon be your online destination for Cyber Monday deals today, although they might already have the jump on rivals, as many of their sales do not begin until tomorrow?
