Asus Windows 8.1 10-inch tablet review and unboxing

The hybrid laptop market has proved rather popular, nothing like the tablet market, but then we never expected it to be. There are a few models that stand out against the crowd, with the Surface getting most of the attention.

However, there are some other great models out there, such as the Asus Windows 8.1 10-inch tablet come laptop Transformer T100. It looks very much like the Android version, but gives consumers the option of a different platform, which makes perfect business sense.

Having the ability to use this device as a tablet and then when the need arises you can use it as a conventional laptop makes this a very versatile product, which is expressed in the three Transformer T100 review videos below.

The first video is a 15-minute review and unboxing uploaded to YouTube this month. He begins by pointing out that while this Asus Windows 8.1 10-inch tablet only runs a Atom processor, it’s the new Bay Trail version, and so the reviewer is anxious to see how it performs.

While the second video is not an in-depth as the first, it still manages to cover all the basics and give you a good idea of what you are buying, such as explaining the Asus Transformer T100 specs and features.

Finally, there is the third video, which is a hands-on with the ASUS Transformer Book T100 Hybrid 2-in-1 Laptop/Tablet PC while at some sort of event, although it isn’t explained what one. Looking at its price it is easy to tell that this is an alternative to the Microsoft Surface 2, but seeing as though the Asus model runs full Windows 8 you will have to do some hard thinking as to which of the two is the better choice.
