Assassin’s Creed Pirates Android, iOS release date revealed

By Updated on

Assassin’s Creed Pirates is not a companion app to Black Flag, but rather a spin off, so sees you taking part in missions a little like you would in the console version of the game. We already knew the app was coming to Android and iOS, but up until now did not know its release date or price come to that matter.

However, the latest news is that Assassin’s Creed Pirates release date for Android and iOS devices is December 5, 2013 and its price is going to be $4.99, which isn’t that bad for such a high profile gaming app.

Ubisoft, who as you know developed Assassin’s Creed 4, along with previous titles in the series, has developed the app. Pirates is all about brutal naval combat, and so gives us a greater taste of life on the high seas.

There are similarities with Black Flag and Pirates because you will be on a quest to find hidden treasure, although the focus will be on Alonzo Batilla, instead of the pirate Edward Kenway.

There will also be appearances by Bellamy and Blackbeard, which have no doubt been included to make the mobile version of this game shift more copies. More details can be found on UbiBlog, along with the Assassin’s Creed Pirates trailer below.
