When FIFA 14 was released on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 there were several bugs within the game, and even though most of these issues have now been resolved, the hard work is not over for EA. This is because FIFA 14 for the Xbox One was just released and the game has been crashing.
EA has said that a fix for the Xbox One version of FIFA 14 will be released at some point today in the hope of rectifying the code issues. It seems there have been other problems with Microsoft’s next-gen console, such as the disc issue, but only for a select few.
Back to FIFA 14, EA has said that Xbox One players can find that if they boot their system with two controllers or if it enters sleep mode while playing the latest game in the game menu then FIFA 14 could either crash or experience connectivity problems.
It is good to hear that EA is aware of these issues and that they will have a day one patch for the Xbox One version of FIFA 14 later today. We are not certain if this is a widespread issue, but it has to be if EA has rushed to get a fix out so soon.
These problems are not specific to the Xbox One, as a patch is also needed for the PS4, and so we would advise you to stop playing the game and wait the few hours for the FIFA 14 patch update download to go live.
