The Canon PowerShot A2500 is not all that old and so is still a very good compact camera to consider as we get into the busy shopping season. It is like a minefield out there as you struggle to find that perfect camera for your needs, but the A2500 could be that model.
This point and shoot camera is not the best on the market in terms of its features and specs, but for its price and build quality, there are not many that tick all the right boxes.

A 16-megapixel sensor is the first in a long line of mid-range specs, others include a 5x optical zoom, 720p HD video recording, DIGIC 4 image processor, which helps to produce fast and high quality pictures.
There are 32 presets with Smart AUTO being the more preferred because it can automatically change many of the cameras settings in order to take the perfect picture in many situations.
Some of those other specs are Digital IS to reduce camera shake, 2.7-inch LCD monitor, ECO Mode to reduce the cameras power consumption, help button and so much more.
Most reviews for the Canon PowerShot A2500 have been rather positive with most of them saying there isn’t anything not to like, but would you agree with that?
