We’ve spoken a lot about compact digital cameras but for those of you who are now ready to take the leap, need a DSLR that is perfect for beginners. We would say go with one of the newer models, but then you will be paying a premium while you learn about a different, more advanced way to take photos.
It is for this very reason why you would be better going for a model that is a couple of years old, as the specs and features will still be better than most compact cameras, while you will also get a bargain at the same time.

One camera that should be considered has to be the Canon EOS Rebel T3, and while there will clearly be a specs insufficiency when compared to newer models, once you see its cheaper price compared to those newer models you won’t mind at all.
When looking over the Canon EOS Rebel T3 specs we can see why this DSLR is popular for wannabe photographers moving over from compact cameras.
You get a 12.2-megapixel sensor; 3x optical zoom equivalent, which can be upgraded of course, 2.7-inch screen with Live View, DIGIC 4 Image Processor, several modes including movie, 9-point AF system and much more.
Would you go for a 2-year-old DSLR just to get yourself used to a new way of taking photos?
