In an attempt to show off the full capacity of their new range of 4K Ultra High Definition TV’s, Sony are pulling no punches in their advertisement campaign. In an attempt to distinguish themselves as one of the leading manufacturers in the television industry they have attempted to wow their audience and future consumers into submission with a display of visual theatrics.
A new Sony commercial features an 8 million flower petal volcano extravaganza with stunning effect. Moreover, the volcano explosion like a rising crescendo, displays a myriad of different colour petals including reds, yellows, pinks and purples are used to create a swarm of petals engulfing an exotic village. The new 4K television will be four times more powerful than the current capacity of most High Definition televisions on the market today that boast an already impressive 1080p screen resolution.

As you can see from the video below, the petal explosion conjures memories of previous Sony television products such as the Sony Bravia TV line. Even though there are a multitude of differences between the products the main issue of concern for most consumer revolves around the issue of pricing. Many consumers in the market are a little apprehensive regarding the initial price of the new Sony 4K televisions. The product may therefore not be a big seller on initial release because the price may be too high for an ordinary family to purchase. But that is yet to be determined.
