Metal Gear Solid 5 Solid Snake trailer didn’t excite everyone

As expected at Sony’s PS4 All Access event, Hideo Kojima was on hand to deliver his announcement which he had been hyping up as ‘mind blowing’. It turned out to be something related to the PS4 version of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, but gamers are already complaining about minds not being blown at all.

Gamers are always hard to please though, but perhaps this was a case of the infamous Hideo Kojima hyping things up a little too much. What we did see announced is an exclusive mission for the PS4 version of the game that won’t be available on the Xbox One or Xbox 360.

That mission is going to be called Deja Vu and it will give players the opportunity to play as the legendary Solid Snake from the MGS1, MGS2 and MGS4 eras. This mission will consist of gameplay that features flashbacks to those previous games, although there’s further disappointment if you were expecting David Hayter to return as the voice of Snake.

It’s already been confirmed that David Hayter won’t be coming back for the special missions, so take that as you will. Kojima has promised that more details on the exclusive PS4 Deja Vu mission will be coming soon, and that it will be based around the Shadow Moses storyline.

After all of the hype, are you mindblown by the announcement, or not? Either way, it’s a nice bonus for those picking up Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes on PS4. We now have the trailer for you, watch it below and let us know what you think.
