When Apple revealed they were to hold an event in October, there was a slim chance that they would debut the iWatch, but we all know that was wishful thinking. We now know that the release of Apple’s smartwatch will not happen until later in 2014, and will take on the likes of the Pebble and the Galaxy Gear.
There has been much speciation as to the iWatch features, as they need to be far better than what is currently available, which won’t be too hard considering Samsung already admitted that they rushed the release of the Gear.
If a recent rumor is true, then we can see how the Apple iWatch will have the edge over the competition. It’s rumored that Apple’s smartphone will come with a varied display size, a small one for women, and a larger one for men.
This simple, yet effective feature makes perfect sense, as we know with standard watches that ladies and gentlemen have different sizes, so how come the likes of Samsung has overlooked this?
In the original article, they suggest that the Apple iWatch for ladies will come with a 1.3-inch display, and the iWatch for men will sport a 1.7-inch screen. While Apple has yet to officially announce its smartwatch, we do know that Tim Cook has said they will be launching new products in 2014 – just don’t expect an Apple branded TV next year though.
