The likes of Best Buy and Target are always competing with each other throughout the year, and as Christmas draws ever closer, that rivalry intensifies.
One of the latest incentives to help improve iPad Air sales is a new price of $479 for the Wi-Fi only model. You will see that this is a saving of $20 off Apple’s price and will become available to the public some time this month.
Target knows that in order to compete with its rivals over the busy holiday season they need to offer something a little more than just $20 off the price of Apple’s new tablet, and that’s just what they have done.
When you purchase a new 16GB iPad Air Wi-Fi only model you will also receive a $100 iTunes gift card, although this offer is limited to just one per customer. This is a way to stop people from buying several iPad Airs and then selling the free gift cards on at a profit.
This incentive will not only benefit Target and its customers, but also Apple because they still get to offload a huge number of tablets and iTunes gift cards.
