Apple may have already launched the iPad Air, but many consumers are waiting patiently for any sign of the highly sought after new iPad Mini Retina instead. Apple has remained very silent on their smaller iPad, but we could have some very juicy information with regards to the iPad Mini Retina release time.
We could be set for another Apple Store refresh session, as whispers are emerging that Apple will put the new iPad Mini Retina, or iPad Mini 2 on sale on November 12. The big talking point about this though, is that Apple may be doing this without any public fanfare.
Rumors have been swirling around that Apple are having some problems with stock shortage over in Asia and it could be the reason why we’ll see a muted iPad Mini Retina release on November 12. Thanks to information shared by MacRumors, Apple has revealed via their GSX website that the new iPad Mini will go on sale on November 12.
Furthermore, the countries that will be on the first wave include the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, China and Japan. That means if this information is accurate, the iPad Mini with Retina won’t see a release in UK at the first opportunity.
We also have a potential release time to give you – 5.30am Pacific Time. This is the exact time where Apple has chosen to release new products live on their stores, along with an accompanying press release. Obviously there is no guarantee that this will happen for the new iPad Mini, but we do know that Apple likes following strict patterns with their product releases.
Are you surprised that Apple has been very quiet with their iPad Mini Retina release? – Do you believe that stock problems could be a reason for this?
Let us know if you have already begun refreshing the Apple Store today.
