Bitstrips app for iPhone, Android and iPad liberated

The Bitstrips app for iPhone, iPad and Android has received an update that finally liberates it from the social network Facebook. One feature that a number of Product Reviews readers asked for desired to use the application without a Facebook login, and it now seems a step was made towards this end with version 1.1.10.

Within the last 24 hours the Bitstrips app on iTunes published an update with three references under “What’s New in v1.1.10”. These changes included a FAQs being added under the settings tab for Bitstrips on both iPad and iPhone, lots of bug fixes, and finally the best improvement was to allow users to share their Bitstrips without posting to Facebook. You can now share to friends within the application only, if you would rather not share on Facebook.

The new option to use the Bitstrips app without having to share to Facebook will be welcomed, and this improvement was also listed on the Google play store for the Android version. There will be a number of other fixes to problems and new features releasing in the near future.

Some of our readers might remember the last update to the Bitstrips app for iPhone, Android and iPad that landed within the last couple of weeks. This brought with it faster searching, a quicker launch time and better sharing.

It should be noted that the current iTunes version still has a 2 star rating and comments from people using the Bitstrips app on iPhone and iPad. These users still report problems after this latest update and apparent crashing in iOS 7 with iPhone 5 and iPad mini 2. If you have issues using the app after the latest update, then leave a comment below.
