Are you a big lover of Windows 8? There has been some early criticism of Microsoft’s new OS, but it’s clear that many consumers are loving Microsoft’s new Metro UI approach to desktops and tablets. While the Nexus 7 2013 may be a hot product to own during the Holiday Season, we’ve found a Windows 8 tablet that may just take your fancy instead.
Lenovo are starting to move up the US tablet ladder with an influx of products that they hope to convince consumers that there are quality alternatives around if consumers are willing to search. We saw evidence of this with the company’s latest Yoga 10 and Yoga 8 tablets, but now we focus on the Lenovo IdeaTab K3 Lynx, which is now available at a discount price.
If you are looking for a tablet with a big screen, you may just want to keep an eye on the Lenovo IdeaTab K3 Lynx. Amazon are selling this beauty for $318.00, which is a massive $200+ saving from the original list price of $550.
This tablet is an 11.6-inch, 64GB monster, with 2GB of RAM, an 1.8 GHz Intel Atom Z2760 processor, mini-HDMI, USB 2.0, and a micro-SD card port for plenty of connectivity options. The 64GB memory is also SSD based, so performance is going to be blazing fast and tablet battery life will be impressive with a total of 16 hours when combining the tablet (8 hours) with the dock (another 8 hours, but sold separately).
This is a full version of Windows 8 as well, rather than the Windows 8 RT which has reduced functionality. One downside to this tablet that we can see, is that it only comes with Intel integrated graphics, which is obviously a big no-no in terms of gaming potential.
Other than that though, this is a great deal over at Amazon. Lenovo are listing this on their website for $500 just to give you an idea. You can also check out some Lenovo IdeaTab K3011 reviews here to see what other consumers are saying about the tablet.
