If you are a keen Minecraft player, there is no doubt that you would have been glued to the game this week following on from the release of the Minecraft 1.7.1 update. Now, we can tell you that the Minecraft servers 1.7.2 are live as well following a swift update, but some users are having some issues due to incompatibility with other users who have not yet updated.
As confirmed on the official Mojang site, The Minecraft 1.7.2 update has now gone live early, to fix up some ‘serious crashes’, but is still the update which the creators have deemed the one that will ‘change the world’.
Due to this quick update, many of you are having problems joining servers on Minecraft 1.7.2 with friends. The most obvious reason for this is that some Minecraft servers will still be running 1.7.1 and have not yet updated to the latest 1.7.2.
This is a common issue when swift updates release, but thankfully one that should fix itself automatically over time. Once the player and server are both running Minecraft servers 1.7.2, you and your friends should have no problems getting into a game and continuing with your adventure.
For those of you looking for new servers which already run the 1.7.2 update, you may find this one located at 220.127.116.11:25565 helpful – the description promises “Diamonds, Iron And More”.
To remind yourself of the full changes and keep yourself updated in case new updates appear, it’s a good idea to bookmark Mojang’s site here if you haven’t already.
