Custom 2014 Corvette Stingray C7 at SEMA

By Updated on

With SEMA 2014 set to open its doors on November 5, 2013, the car list has already grown. However, to further add to the list are two custom 2014 Corvette Stingray C7 models from Toyo Tires and Forgiato Wheels.

The latter has always had a good showing at SEMA, so it seemed only right to offer a custom version of the hottest car in the US at the moment. The Toyo Tires version is being classed as a concept Chevy Corvette Stingray thanks to some improved performance features, such as newly designed rocker panels, front splitter and rear wing, all of which are made from carbon fiber.

It is clear there is an emphasis on aerodynamics, because these new additions to the C7 will not only help too improve downforce, but overall handling as well. This is evident with the inclusion of Toyo Proxes T1R tires, which will offer more grip than the standard 2014 Stingray.

However, the biggest Corvette C7 Stingray upgrade is to the engine, as it goes from 450 horsepower to 580. Could this be the ultimate C7 so far?

As for the Forgiato Wheels 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, this will not offer the kind of enhancements of the custom version above, but we do like the wide-body look because it gives the C7 a more aggressive stance.

You can see from the image seen here that the model has a huge rear wing, large aftermarket Forgiato wheels, and various other carbon fiber aerodynamic enhancements.

It is not just the Corvette getting the special SEMA treatment from the Chevy, as there are other Chevrolet models on the list as well.
