If you are looking for an iPad-controlled coffee machine then Philips has delivered the perfect product for you, and this is the GranBaristo that uses Bluetooth technology and an Apple iPad app to help you make the perfect espresso, cappuccino, macchiatto, and various other coffees.
The iPad app will guide you in making the best coffee possible with steps on what to add for different options like a Caramel Macchiato as seen in the photo below.
You can also control different settings of the Philips GranBaristo thanks to the coffee machine being iPad-controlled, so like you can see in the iPad screenshot below. There are settings for temperature, strength, amount of coffee and milk. You can then save the settings and brew.
The iPad app has a number of options within the side menu and these include the ability to browse coffee types, explore different coffee beans, learn about tasting tips, change settings, learn from the built-in manual and even contact Saeco about the machine or app.
To learn more about this iPad-controlled coffee machine take a look at the IFA 2013 press release, which also includes more details on the specifications for the ultimate at-home coffee experience.
