News on the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 has been a bit quiet of late, although this was to be expected because of two other tablet announcements, the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina. All that we know so far is based on rumor, just like this new one that looks at its proposed specs.
If what we have read is true, then the Galaxy Note 12.2 performance will be like a titan because those specs will make it more like a powerhouse. However, all this will come at a cost, not only in price but weight as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 specs were found on AnTuTu, who specialize in benchmark testing. They found that the new Android tablet from Samsung will pack a punch thanks to its alleged 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, a massive 3GB of RAM, a 12.2-inch 1,600 x 2,560 resolution display, 8-megapixel rear-facing and 2-megapixel front-facing cameras.
That is not all, as there is also 32GB or internal storage and it will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, which is a shock, as we would have assumed it would run 4.4 KitKat. We cannot be certain, but Samsung will have trouble keeping the weight down on this oversized tablet.
We assume the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 would come with Android 4.4 KitKat because of its expected release date, as it is not due until early in 2014.
