It looks like the truth is finally out there. The big question that a lot of gamers wanted to know, is the final resolution for Call of Duty Ghosts on PS4 and Xbox One. It had been rumored that the PS4 version would be 1080p native and the Xbox One would not, but now it looks like we have confirmation to give you on this topic at long last.
Many gamers are wondering why we recently saw some PS4 footage of Call of Duty Ghosts running directly on the hardware, but the Xbox One version of the game was nowhere in sight. Skeptics are wondering if Microsoft’s secret is finally out, in relation to their version only being 720p, compared to the PS4 version which is 1080p native.
This week, Sony’s Adam Boyes has confirmed at the Brasil Game Show that COD Ghosts on PS4 is indeed shipping with 1080p native resolution. In comparison, Microsoft has yet to offer a confirmation on the resolution, with Albert Penello recently having this to say on the game, which many have deemed as being very evasive:
I've seen COD: Ghosts running on Xbox One. It looks f'n amazing. Wait for real footage, then judge for yourself.

Another Tweet that we’ve included below tells the story further and gamers are starting to draw their own conclusions on this. The obvious question is though, how will Call of Duty Ghosts suffer on Xbox One at 720p, compared to PS4 running at 1080p if all of this is confirmed?

At the moment, judging by the way Microsoft are acting, it does look like Call of Duty Ghosts on Xbox One is only 720p – otherwise, they would surely have come out with a statement already if it was 1080p.
We will be bringing you some PS4 gameplay at 1080p soon, but in the meantime give us your reaction to the bombshell. Does 1080p vs 720p mean a big difference to you or not?
