We have some good news for those of you who were unable to participate in the Dark Souls 2 closed beta that recently became available. A second opportunity to play the Dark Souls 2 beta is available, but only to those that currently have an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
Dark Souls 2 is easily one of the most anticipated games of 2014, with many eager to find out if From Software are planning to make the game as difficult as the infamous difficulty curve from the first game.
The good news, is that PS Plus members have a chance to play the game this weekend. We now have the official start time for the Dark Souls 2 beta signup, as it will go live on Sunday October 27 between 7am and 10am UK time.
Make special note of this time as this is the only period where the beta will be playable each day, with the developer’s main aim to stress test the servers rather than provide a full blown open beta.
To ensure that you make full use of the three hour playtime, you can head to the exclusives section of the PS Plus PSN and download the Dark Souls 2 beta client now. This will mean that you can get everything ready for the event and won’t have to waste time downloading the actual beta during the precious three hour window.
Do you have a PS Plus account ready to play the beta this Sunday? Happy gaming everyone and let us know how you get on.
