The Dell Precision M3800 will arrive next month and the company’s newest laptop contains a fourth-generation Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB of memory. Today we are looking at the forecasted specs and the launch date of this highly anticipated workstation.
With every intention of competing with the likes of the Apple MacBook Pro the Dell Precision M3800 is only 18mm in thickness and this 4.5-lb powerhouse combines power with portability making this an attractive laptop.
Launching on November 14th this M3800 contains a 15.6″ UltraSharp QHD 3200×1800-pixel multi-touch-enabled display, giving users the opportunity to interact using up to five fingers. This product is enabled for wireless docking, which is ideal for the office environment, and those who have reviewed this have positive things to say about the solid speakers and camera specs.
The Official Dell website marks the November 14 release and details the full specifications and features, including how light and thin this product is, and back in July we highlighted the forecasted specs of the Dell Precision M3800 Workstation, although we only knew a few at the time of writing and raised concerns about the clock speed, design and fears that the resolution could have a negative effect on 3D CAD performance.
In addition, we were also worried whether the screen may produce too much glare therefore we are hoping to see some extensive reviews on this over the coming weeks. Are you impressed with what you have seen of the Dell Precision M3800 Workstation?
