Earlier today we highlighted the fact that Apple’s iPad 5 and mini 2 keynote event would receive live video coverage on their little TV box along with the main website, but Apple has gone all out with a feature on the main homepage.
You can see a screenshot above that we just took off the main homepage and as you can see it entices fans to watch the Apple October 22rd event keynote live online. The preparation for the keynote today is much more than we saw with the iPhone 5S last month, this is partly due to location, but it is clear Apple thought a lot about putting the spotlight on their announcements today.
Why do you think we are seeing Apple deliver a live video stream of their iPad 5, mini 2 keynote event and not the same offering last month? Do you feel today has a lot more to offer consumers?
If you are not already there, then head over to Apple.com for the live stream and see how the world’s biggest technology brand is pushing the Oct. 22nd event more than last months keynote.
Apple’s special keynote event has just started and we will soon find out if the iPad mini 2 and iPad 5 receive the specs most fans desire, although we hope this includes Touch ID and Retina for iPad mini 2.
As per normal, Apple has started by talking about its success and of course this now focuses on iPhone 5S sales and how people have welcomed the new smartphone. Apple is also focusing first on iTunes Radio and how users listened to more than 1 billion songs via iTunes Radio only in the United States.
After watching the event: leave a comment below with your thoughts on what Apple revealed today.
