Earlier this year Apple had offered a 2013 MacBook Air refresh, but for some reason had left the Pro out. We first thought it was silly not to release a MacBook Pro with the Haswell chip at the same time, but after a while it became evident why.
Apple knew they wanted to make the newer model special, and the only way to do this was to make certain that the 2013 MacBook Pro is released with OS X Mavericks. The reason for this is because it would be able to take full advantage of the new performance and power management, which would also work in perfect unison with Intel’s fourth-generation i-Series chip, Haswell.
2013 MacBook Pro Haswell upgrade patience – It is understandable that waiting for the MacBook Pro 2013 refresh takes a huge amount of patience because people are so eager for the new model. Some people would have already purchased the current model, as they cannot wait, but for those who have, they will be rewarded tomorrow.
Having said that, it is still speculation that Apple will announce a new MacBook Pro, but it is a safe bet they will. The next big question is, will the 2013 MacBook Pro with Haswell be available tomorrow, directly after the iPad event, or will we have to wait a week or so like we did with the iPhone 5S and 5C?
Speaking of the upgrade, we have to wonder if we will see a return of the 17-inch model, as it is clear from a previous article that the larger MacBook Pro is wanted once again?
