The new Ematic EM63 is a new budget tablet that is being marketed at the very affordable price of $85.69. The new tablet device is seen as an improvement to the Genesis Prime, which Ematic unveiled back in April. How does the new Ematic EM63 tablet compare to its predecessor? And is this product value for money when compared to other similar products in the market?
The Ematic EM63 tablet has improved upon the previous models specifications offering an uninspiring 1.1GHz CPU and a miniscule 512MB of RAM. In this new and updated version of the product, Ematic have beefed up their CPU with a 1.5GHz dual-core, which is complimented with 1GB of RAM. This also includes 4GB of internal storage on the device, microSD, 5GB of cloud storage and the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 that allows one Play Store access, as well as host of other specifications.
The display screen for this device is 7” and has vastly improved upon the previous model. Indeed, the modest 800 x 480 screen resolution on a 7” display has been enhanced to 1024 x 600 on a 7” display. Even though this is an improvement of sorts, there are other models that are not exceedingly more expensive than Ematic EM63 that have better screen resolution for just a smidgen more money.
Moreover, with the ensuing countdown of the holiday season that is quickly approaching, people may want to opt for this device as a cheap alternative to their market competitors. At an astonishing price of $85.69 it will not break the budget of most families and could prove to be an ideal gift for a child using their first tablet device. This device is probably not suitable for experienced users of Tablet’s, but could prove to be a knock out for first time users.
So what do you think of the new Ematic EM63? Is this product suitable for a gift for the family in the forthcoming holiday season? Or would you prefer to spend a little more money and get a superior tablet that is already on the market? You can check the product out at Amazon to see if this is a product you wish to buy.
