Most of you already know that you are able to create a Windows 8.1/8 bootable USB, which basically allows you to boot up from the USB drive. However, many of you do not know how to do this, but it is not as difficult as you might think. Remember, before you even think about doing this, you will need at least 8GB storage capacity and upward.

Secondly, you will need some software from Microsoft, which is an ISO file for Windows 8. The simplest way to learn this procedure is by watching the detailed video below. However, even before you do this, you will need to purchase Windows 8 from Microsoft.

Once installed you will be asked to select an ISO file, then you will need to choose a media type, this will be USB.

You then have to locate your USB device and select it, you are then asked to delete all content on the USB device, and you need to click yes. The software will then begin to format the drive for you. We find it strange how the video waits for the drive to format, rather than skipping that point.

Once completed you will be able to check your Windows 8 boot from USB installation. You will have all the boot files, support tools and everything else you need to boot Windows 8 or 8.1 from a USB device. Again, you can follow the process in the video.
