If there was any doubt as to whether Apple would introduce the highly anticipated iPad 5 and iPad Mini 5 tablets later this month, we think this latest leak surely seals the deal. The much-hyped device has been pictured online in a new report, showing pictures of not only the iPad 5, but also the iPad Mini 2 in high quality as well.
As we told you earlier this week, both devices are now set for an official unveiling on October 22 at Apple’s iPad 5 event later this month. We still don’t know the location for the big event, but we’re sure that invites will probably start to emerge at the start of next week.
To keep you entertained until that happens, it appears we have had the mother of all iPad leaks. Feast your eyes on this picture gallery courtesy of Sonny Dickson. The site claims to be in possession of the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 images already, showing both devices in a new ‘Space Grey’ color side by side for the first time.
The polished design of the iPad 5 looks very classy indeed, with one of the standout highlights being a notable silver trim around the edges of both the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2. There’s even some component images to gaze upon as well, letting you see the front panels of both devices, including the home button which may or may not come equipped with the 5S Touch ID finger-print scanner.
There’s also growing reports that Apple will finally add a Retina Display on the 2nd-generation iPad Mini, so it looks like consumers are going to be very happy indeed with the final outcome – especially if we see a 64-bit Apple A7 chip inside as well.
Check out the massive picture gallery through the link while you still can, then give us your thoughts on this intimate look at the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2.
Are you definitely buying the Space Grey model now or do you still need to see more?
