If you have been looking at Blackmagic Intensity and are not sure whether to choose Extreme, Pro or the Shuttle then we want to give you a little helping hand with some video reviews of each. All three devices allow for amazing quality HDMI capture and playback in SD and HD. Connectivity varies by model, and so you will need to make certain you make the correct choice.
The first video we have for you is of an unboxing and review of the Blackmagic Intensity Extreme. Okay, so we know this model is more than a year old, but it is still a popular choice because it is now much cheaper than it was when it was first released and it being the perfect solution for videographers. However, some of you will feel as though it is starting to show its age.

Blackmagic’s Intensity: Pro is a little newer and so adds a number of improvements, such as increased connectivity, and overall better capture results and features. You can see this for yourself in the unboxing and first look video below, which is the second video.
Some of you will wonder why you want a video capture device for gaming when the next-gen consoles will have this feature built-in? However, not everyone can afford a PS4 or Xbox One. The PS3 and Xbox 360 will still sell in their millions, and so there will always be a need for video capture devices.
For those of you who have often wondered how to record your Xbox 360 or PS3, then the third video, which is a Blackmagic Intensity Pro tutorial, should be a great help.
We know there are other video capture devices on the market, but how do you know which can compete with those above? Thankfully, we have embedded a fourth video for you below, which is an Elgato vs. Blackmagic Shuttle review and aims to see which is the better of the two.
