Nexus 5 aggressive price point rumors

By Updated on

It’s only been a couple of weeks since the iPhone 5S was released, but in that time sales have been relentless and as a result have already slipped to several weeks wait. Apple haters can never understand the obsession of getting the latest iPhone from the company, as the price and specs do not seem as good as some Android devices.

A fine example of this is the Nexus 5, which as we know should be released later this month. This device has been a closely guarded secret because Google and LG (whom we believe to be the manufacturer) have yet to acknowledge the existence of the handset.

However, this has not stopped the rumors, with the latest being in regard to the Nexus 5 price. If we can believe what TechRadar is saying, then the Nexus 5 will come at a cheaper price point than the iPhone 5S.

You might be thinking big deal, but it is when you consider by how much cheaper. TechRadar’s source is saying the Nexus 5 could cost around $350, which is half the price of the iPhone 5S, and also cheaper than the 5C as well.

We knew Google were going to be aggressive with pricing, especially as its predecessor cost $299 unlocked. What makes this news all the more special is rumors that Nexus 5 specs will be similar to that of the iPhone 5S.

As always, we need to take such news with a grain of salt, although the thought of the Nexus 5 price being more attractive than the iPhone 5S is a pleasant one.
