It’s all very well having the best picture quality on your home TV, but seeing this on a much larger scale is always better. It is for this reason if you have the room and the funds, then we would suggest you go for a 4K home projector instead.

There is not a huge choice on the market right now, and those that are vary in price. Take the new range of JVC 4K home projectors, they have been designed to make use of some awesome technology at a price that fits into a lower-end budget.

However, the new Sony 4K projector doesn’t care about budget, and so comes in at a price that is out of reach to a huge percentage of homeowners.

JVC has three new projectors; these are the X900R, X700R and X500R, all of which feature 4K inputs. The best part is that prices start at $4,999, which isn’t bad when you consider the difference from a standard projector. If you have been thinking of getting one of those 3D projectors, then we would advise you to go with one of these models instead.

CNET says these new JVC 4K home projectors will become available from November.

If money is not an object and you want to have one of the best movie experiences in your home, then the Sony VPL-VW1100ES or VPL-VW600ES might be just what you are looking for. With a price tag of $28,000 and $15,000 respectively you need to be serious about your home cinema. CNET also has details on these two models.

Do you think there is a need to spend so much on a projector?
