Owning a small portable speaker is great for so many reasons, such as being able to let others enjoy your music when you get together, or even take on vacation with you or being down at the beach with a few friends. In the past these small speakers that connected to mobile devices were not very nice looking, and the sound quality was not that impressive.
However, technology has changed, which means these little portable speakers offer you the kind of sound you will not be embarrassed about. However, finding the right one is a challenge because you have to consider, sound quality, style and price, so what about these two?
Jawbone Mini Jambox vs. Bose SoundLink Mini – These speakers are very different in the way where one is designed to be more portable and also there is a sense of fun with the styling. Whereas the other has been designed to offer the best sound available at a size that it right for you, although some of you will think the styling is a little clinical and too much like Apple.
To help give you a helping hand to find out which of these two speakers are right for you we have embedded two videos below. CNET TV has created both, with the first being a Jawbone Mini Jambox review. This version is about half the size of its full-size brother and we can see it has lost none of its styling. You have the choice of nine colors and grille styles, but what we love most is how easy it is to fit in a women’s or man’s purse – whoever uses them?
The second video is a Bose SoundLink Mini review, and this is cheaper than we expected, as it costs just $20 more than the Mini Jambox. The design is sleek and has a more quality feel to it, but it does lack that fun factor. It’s not as small as some of its rivals, but the build quality more than makes up for its lack in portability.
