Assassin’s Creed PS4 gameplay with epic conclusion

You may have seen plenty of Assassin’s Creed 4 footage running on current-gen consoles or PC recently, but perhaps you haven’t had the chance to see how the game is shaping up on next-gen PS4 and Xbox One consoles yet.

Assassin’s Creed PS4 gameplay with epic conclusion

Ubisoft has this week given a reason for fans to get excited about the PS4 version specifically, by releasing a new gameplay video that is running directly on the PS4 hardware. The footage is titled Pirate’s Heist and also serves as a great accompaniment to Ubisoft finally confirming a PS4 release date for the game.

Assassin’s Creed 4 is going to be available as a launch title for both the PS4 and Xbox One, meaning that you can get it November 15 in the US on PS4 and November 22 for the Xbox One version. For everyone in Europe, the game will be out on November 29, while the November 22 date still stands on the Xbox One launch in Europe.

Main character Edward Kenway is already looking like a noble successor to Connor from the previous game. Edward Kenway stars in a brand new trailer for the game, which can only be described as epic with Ubisoft certainly knowing how to build up anticipation in just a few minutes.

With this trailer specifically released to market the PS4 version, we’re a little surprised on the graphics quality. It looks good in our opinion, but nothing amazing at the same time and arguably on par with the fantastic visuals seen in PS3 games The Last of Us and GTA V.

Next-gen graphics?

Next-gen graphics?

Perhaps it’s all about the gameplay though rather than graphics, but it would still be nice to have an Assassin’s Creed 4 game on next-gen consoles that completely blows everyone away on the graphics front on first glance.

Take a look at the new epic trailer above and let us know if you agree about the visuals not being too amazing. Don’t forget that the PS4 version of the game is going to include 60 minutes of footage that won’t be available on other platforms.
