A few days ago Apple quietly released their 2013 iMac refresh, which as you may well know offered a few performance enhancements and while this was good news, it is not the news we had been hoping for. The 2013 MacBook Pro refresh is the one many of us are now waiting on because it will benefit more from some of the same upgrades.
The new MacBook Pro will surely come with more enhancements to make it a more important update than the iMac, which could be the reason why they are waiting to unveil it during the Apple event next month, which as we know should also see the new iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 debut?
Killer Haswell Macbook Pro features for the 2013 refresh – We thought we would take what we have been hearing over the months and look at some of the killer features we expect to see with the MacBook Pro refresh. First and foremast is Haswell, which is the 4th generation i-Series processor from Intel, which will help to improve performance and also battery life as well.
We have already seen some 2013 MacBook Pro benchmark tests and shows a more powerful version of Haswell could be used in this new model. Thunderbolt 2 is also expected to make it into the new MacBook Pro refresh, as well as a 4K screen display to help make the display look even better than the upgrade we saw come to the Pro last year.
If this is true then the 2013 MacBook Pro would offer image quality like you get from certain TVs, meaning it will be an even better multimedia device.
OS X Mavericks could be one of the best new 2013 MacBook Pro features because this will bring a host of new enhancements. This could be another reason for the delay, as Apple may want to ship the new Haswell MacBook Pro with Mavericks installed? We still do not know when the new operating system will be ready for release, but we hope to learn more during next month’s Apple event.
